Rob & Robin
Rob & Robin is an illustration duo from The Netherlands. After graduating together in graphic design, they shifted their focus to illustration. Still their background in graphic design is evident in their work, which is characterized by clever and bold concepts.
Working together on the same drawing creates an interesting interaction; It fosters a dynamic exchange of absurd viewpoints, humor and unexpected outcomes. Resulting in a final illustration with ingredients from both minds.
In their journey to overcome their initial struggles with drawing, they stumbled upon the world of 3D software. What began as a tool to correct their drawings and perspectives gradually grew into a large playground for them. Through deformations, bends, and twists in the 3D software, they experiment and intuitively explore the unconventional shapes, stories, and new possibilities hidden within everyday objects.
